The Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) Program is an award-winning road safety education initiative designed to help young people make safer choices behind the wheel. Rather than focusing solely on driving skills, RYDA encourages students to understand the responsibilities that come with driving and to recognise the factors that contribute to road crashes, including speed, distraction, fatigue, peer pressure and risk-taking behaviour. Through engaging workshops and real-life experiences, students gain practical knowledge that can help them stay safe for life.
